In 1999 Shariq Hussain was awarded 2nd Prize in Computer Sciences by Dr. Ata-ur-Rehman Federal Minister for Science and Technology (MoST) and Chairman Science Forum Karachi. Whereas in 2005 he was awarded Rector's Role of Honor at Telecommunications by the Dr. Qazi Khalid Additional Advocate General Govt. of Sindh (Former Education Minister of Sindh), Rector PIMSAT (Karachi) Ahsan Rafi and Director PIMSAT M.A. Jaan.
